Better Together Attraction Design
Based on the Chinese Winter Solstice, Dong Zhi. An attraction has been created to encourage primary schooler to learn more about the almost forgotten festival in Singapore as well as to appreciate their families more and reconnect to their roots.

Better Together follows an engaging storyline that includes 4 characters inspired by a bowl of Tang Yuans, where they need your help to overcome a couple of challenges so they can be whole as a family before the coldest and longest night on Dong Zhi end.
​
Majority of the attraction's walls will be equipped with LED screens where the storyline will play and it will also be interactive with the E-wristbands given out at the start of the attraction. It will guide the user to correctly find their destination, especially in the mini maze section.
​
Activities includes Tang Yuan Charm-Making, Phygital Chinese Calligraphy (Traditional Glow in the Dark Chinese Calligraphy & Digital Chinese Calligraphy with iPads and Bluetooth paintbrushes.) and a Tang Yuan Ball pit along with a Game Table and a Photo Collection Station.

Swee Heng 1989 Bakery
Retail experience & design


A new retail experience has been created for Swee Heng 1989 which consists of a fusion between a bakery and a gallery, so as to attract tertiary students. Due to COVID-19, physical products are removed for hygiene and safety of the customers.
​
8 exhibits are displayed to showcase the company's products, along with a description card that states the exact ingredients used in each product so customers know what they are consuming. There will also be a QR code for customers to make purchase via the Swee Heng App and collect it in store at the Bread Locker, to limit surface contact in store due to COVID-19.



Alice & Olivia Spring Summer Window Display

The concept of this window display is a whimsical tea party. Therefore, super sized large spring flowers such as orchids and daisies are used. A butterfly holding a teapot that pours petals instead of tea gives a magical touch to my display. I have applied the display format of Emphasis where I used a tertiary colour scheme to emphasize on the white dress so as to make it stand out against the colourful background.

Trapped in a Plastic World 3D display
Due to Covid-19 & Circuit Breaker, the amount of single use plastic have increased to a dangerous amount. My display hopes to scare parents into bringing their own containers to takeaway food and set an example for their children so as to create a generation that doesn't rely on single use plastic as often.



Therefore, children sculptures trapped in plastic containers stuffed to the brim with plastic waste, are used to tug at the heart strings of parents. This is to stimulate the living conditions of our children's future if we don't do something now.

Design Challenges:
This was my first time sculpting and so I don't know how to properly piece things together, hence, everything kept breaking apart multiple times. I also really doubted myself with how things looked like a literal mess but then again, that's what my display is trying to show my target audience and put the message across.
Learning Points:
-
Perseverance - Trusting the process and keep at it no matter how many obstacles I face. Always finish what you've started and take every setback as a learning opportunity.
-
Planning ahead - I started sculpting during my term break because I know there's no way I can finish all my sculptures if I only started when school re opened.
There's always one for every occasion.
Event Entrance & Stage Design
A collaboration between LOVISA & BLACKPINK to showcase Lovisa's Newest Versatile Collection, whereby the accessories can be transformed to fit different occasions such as a cocktail party, a high tea and a bicycle day out.


Event includes a luxurious stage with LOVISA's accessories displayed in cocktail glasses, a Pavilion with a high tea set up that displayed LOVISA's accessories and a 2 storey bicycle course where visitors can ride their bicycles that are provided while viewing the accessories hanging on fake tree branches above them. The entrance is a combination of all 3 activities featured in the event along with modular cuts vinyl on the floor that leads to different touchpoints.
LISTERINE's Marketing Campaign
Smile Confidently & Effortlessly TOO.
A series of illustrations that shows people with braces smiling and laughing like usual people do. This suggests that braces wearers do not have to feel restricted by their wires with Listerine's New Product with a new formula that can ease the discomfort of braces wearers so they can smile confidently and effortlessly TOO.









The graphics along with the tagline will be featured on their Instagram and their website. A link will be provided for customers to be redirected for any online purchase.

It will also be situated outside dental clinics and local grocery stores as it is where braces wearers will frequent often and it is somewhere accessible island wide. Therefore, by placing the advertisements at these places, it will get the most exposure from the Target Audience. Also, there will be a QR code available to re-direct customers for online purchase.
